Peters PC.   He has been a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan for over 31 years, during which time he has excelled as an attorney litigating medical-legal issues.  Mr. Peters has earned the highest A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

In personal injury and disability cases, Mr. Peters charges on a percentage fee basis which means that you don’t pay any attorney fees until you win.  In the unlikely event that you do not win, there is no attorney fee whatsoever.  When you do win and recover money, the attorney fee is only a small percentage of what you win so that you will never need any money to hire Mr. Peters.

Prior to obtaining his law license in 1987, Mr. Peters attended Saginaw Valley State College (Now Saginaw Valley State University) on a full football scholarship where he played varsity football as astrong-side safety, and baseball.  Mr. Peters graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with honors (Cum Laude) in 1981.  In 2017, Mr. Peters was inducted with other members of his 1979 college football team into the Saginaw Valley State University Football hall of fame.

Who is Donald Peters and where did he come from?

Mr. Peters grew up in Michigan in a middle class family in a suburb of Detroit.  He was one of seven children.  Mr. Peters’ father quit school in the 6th grade and worked the coal mines of Pennsylvania before moving to Michigan to work in the auto industry as a tool and die maker to support his wife and seven kids.  Mr. Peters is quite proud of his father and his accomplishments, achieved with only a 6th grade education.

Mr. Peters recalls childhood memories when his father and his friends sometimes lent each other money to make it through hard times, such as factory layoffs.  Many years later, Mr. Peters can still recall those memories of tough financial times and realizes how lucky his family was to have health insurance and healthy working parents; but he realizes some were not so lucky. Because of those memories, Mr. Peters takes it personally when he sees insurance companies denying benefits, such as payment for medical bills, lost wages, household and attendant care services, medication expenses, and accommodations to injured accident victims.  Your insurance company contractually agreed to pay for those services should you ever need them after an accident.  When they refuse, TheLaw Office of Donald H. Peters will utilize the best attorneys with the highest success at making the insurance companies pay even if it means taking them all the way to trial.  Mr. Peters only utilizes attorneys with a long history of successful awards, including multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements.  We do not use inexperienced lawyers.  We do not believe in letting an inexperience attorney practice on your case.

Mr. Peters represents and counsels injury and disability claimants all over the State of Michigan and throughout the country.  He has been a member of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, NOSSCR (National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives), the Social Security Section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, the Macomb County Bar Association, and the South-Oakland Bar Association, to name a few.
